User Generated Content Policies
At Treasured Storybooks®, we empower our customers to create personalized, one-of-a-kind children’s books by allowing them to upload user-generated content (UGC) such as images and personalization details. This policy explains how we handle, store, and use your content while ensuring the highest standards of privacy, security, and compliance. By using our platform, you agree to these policies.
1. Submission and Use of User-Generated Content
1.1 Purpose of Submission:
User-generated content is used solely to create and fulfill your personalized order. This includes:
- Customizing illustrations, text, and book designs based on your inputs.
- Enhancing the overall personalization and storytelling experience.
1.2 Prohibited Content:
You may not upload content that:
- Violates any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Contains offensive, abusive, or illegal material, including content that is violent, pornographic, defamatory, or discriminatory.
- Depicts minors without the uploader’s explicit legal authority to use the images.
Any content that violates these terms may lead to immediate account suspension, order cancellation, and removal of the offending material.
2. Security, Retention, and Deletion of Content
2.1 Secure Uploads:
- All uploaded content is encrypted during transmission and stored using industry-standard security protocols.
- Access to user-generated content is restricted to authorized personnel involved in the production of your custom book.
2.2 Retention Period:
- Content is retained for 60 days to facilitate production, replacements, and addressing quality concerns.
- After 60 days, all content is permanently deleted from our servers.
2.3 Deletion Assurance:
- Once content is deleted, it cannot be retrieved or recovered. Treasured Storybooks® does not store backups of user-generated content beyond the retention period.
2.4 Data Breach Safeguards:
While we employ best practices to secure your data, no platform is immune to breaches. If a breach occurs, Treasured Storybooks® will promptly notify affected customers and take remedial action in accordance with applicable laws.
3. Rights and Ownership of Uploaded Content
3.1 Ownership:
You retain full ownership of all content you upload. Treasured Storybooks® does not claim ownership of any user-generated content.
3.2 Limited License for Production:
By submitting content, you grant Treasured Storybooks® a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, process, reproduce, and modify the content for the sole purpose of creating, producing, and delivering your personalized product. This license expires upon completion of the order and deletion of the content.
3.3 No Commercial Use by Treasured Storybooks®:
We will never use your content for marketing, resale, or any other commercial purposes without obtaining your explicit written consent.
4. AI-Generated Illustrations
4.1 Use of Advanced AI:
Our proprietary AI technology creates personalized illustrations tailored to your inputs. This ensures unique, context-appropriate visuals that enhance your storybook.
4.2 Human Oversight:
Every AI-generated illustration is reviewed by a trained human editor to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriateness for children.
4.3 Artistic Variability:
While we aim to create accurate representations based on the provided information, artistic interpretations may occur. Treasured Storybooks® is not liable for minor variances or creative adjustments made to ensure design consistency and quality.
4.4 Liability for AI-Generated Content:
Treasured Storybooks® disclaims liability for inaccuracies in AI-generated content where such discrepancies do not materially deviate from the provided inputs. If errors occur, please contact our support team for a resolution.
5. Reviews, Testimonials, and Feedback
5.1 Voluntary Submissions:
Customers who submit reviews, testimonials, or feedback grant Treasured Storybooks® a non-exclusive license to use, publish, and distribute this content for marketing and promotional purposes.
5.2 Usage Rights:
- Content may be featured on our website, social media platforms, email campaigns, or advertisements.
- Personal identifiers, such as names, will only be used if explicit consent is provided.
5.3 Modification of Feedback:
Treasured Storybooks® reserves the right to edit testimonials for clarity or brevity while preserving the intent of the original feedback.
6. Responsibilities and Liability
6.1 Customer Responsibilities:
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring the content you upload is accurate, appropriate, and compliant with these policies.
- Confirming you have the legal right to use and submit any images or materials.
6.2 Misuse of the Platform:
Any misuse, including but not limited to uploading offensive or infringing content, will result in immediate termination of service, cancellation of orders, and potential legal action.

We are responsible for:
- Ensuring user-generated content is securely managed and used only for its intended purpose.
- Reviewing AI-generated and personalized content for quality and appropriateness.
6.4 Limitations of Liability:
- Treasured Storybooks® is not liable for errors, omissions, or discrepancies arising from inaccurate customer submissions.
- We disclaim liability for damages resulting from the misuse of uploaded content by third parties in the event of a data breach.
7. Disputes and Resolutions
7.1 Customer Concerns:
